Geez, doesn't time fly when you're having fun!
Rugby season was fantastic, with the Hautapu Hopefools winning the Waikato Senior 3rd Division title for a 2nd time.
Say's It All Doesn't It?
Very proud to play alongside my team mates. What a great bunch of guys.

And now the Speedway season is here already and I haven't finished repairs & alterations to the car yet. I am aiming to be ready on Guy Fawkes Night at Huntly on 1 November 2008.

Have been progressively working on upgrades to the car over the past few weekends. Fair to say I am getting very sick of the sight of the car...lol
Have purchased a new "Outlaw" brake caliper for the rear of the car as the old Holden stuff is just getting so expensive to maintain and doesn't work as well as a proper racing caliper.
Son is now right into R/C Drifting and is pretty darn good at it, even if I say so myself.

Happy New Year to everybody.
Sorry about the lack of updates, but as you will know, the Speedway season has arrived and we have had a very busy time at Huntly Placemakers Speedway.
My usual minor repairs session has turned into a major rebuild.
Many thanks to Peter Kennedy of Metal Image who has kindly offered his assistance in getting the car finished.
Check out the upgrades page to see where I am at with the car.
